To take you in Not as a concept A theory Something to be argued away depending on the wind of my thoughts that day or that year But a substance


To take you in In an intermingling Undeniable presence The smell of bread The fullness of wine


I am yours And you are mine Jesus, I remember The memory is right here I’m now digesting it New again A remembrance That overtakes my senses


We are sensual beings you know You and I Let’s mix and mingle again And forget where you end and I begin
